Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Adventure People collects personally-identifying information only to the extent necessary to deliver the services, products, or information you, or an agent or other passenger booking on your behalf, request. Depending on the circumstances, in the course of providing service to you, Adventure People may collect and hold personal information such as your name, date of birth, gender, postal address, telephone number, email address, passport details, nutrition preferences, medical information, travel insurance details, trip evaluations, comments you provide us, credit card and/or other payment information, etc. The collection of this information is done so that we can perform our business activities and functions and to provide the best possible quality of customer service.
We may also collect personal information, including contact information, if you elect to enter a contest or sweepstakes with us, subscribe to our newsletter, or request a brochure, which we will use only to provide you with the service you have requested (or other substantially similar services directly related to your request).
When you are traveling with us, we may take video and images of you that may be used in brochures, in our advertising or on our website. All participants of Adventure People trips authorize us to use his/her image (such as a photograph, video, or recorded voice). The security and integrity of your personal-identifying information is important to us. All personal information is stored in secure databases at secure addresses to prevent unauthorized access.
