This morning, we’ll be picked up from our hotel to enjoy a 5-hour Buenos Aires city tour—you will be swept away by the highlights of our beloved Buenos Aires!  We’ll visit important historical monuments on our way to Plaza de Mayo, the political center of the city. Admire significant buildings such as the Casa Roda (the presidential house) or the Congress.

Experience the European flair that has given the city its fame as you stroll around eclectic neighborhoods, from antique San Telmo and colorful La Boca where tango is ever-present to fancy and chic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us why Buenos Aires is called the “Paris of the South”.  Discover its famous cemetery containing the graves of many of Argentina’s emblematic figures.

This evening, we’ll be picked up from our hotel and taken to a mystical place where you’ll discover one of Argentina’s most ancient traditions. Tango is more than the national dance… tango is their immigrant origins, the talent of the local artists, the sensuality of Argentine women, and it’s their way of dealing with a broken heart; dancing their way through tragic, and yet eternal, love stories.

Tonight you will enjoy a professional display of tango and music with a group of local artists on stage immersed in an elegant and alluring place. The manners, ambiance, clothes, and dance steps that tango lovers used to practice 100 years ago will come to life again and you will travel back in time for a night.

This spectacular tango show in Buenos Aires will be accompanied by delicious Argentine and international cuisine. Dinner will be à la carte, with beverages included so you can lose yourself in the ethereal taste of Malbec wine. At the end of the evening, around midnight, you will be driven back to your hotel, fully in love with the bohemian spirit of this incredible city.

It’s time to leave the city and fly to the jungle! This morning, you will be transferred to the domestic airport for your 2-hour flight to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu. On the Argentinian side, you will have the sensation of being right inside the falls, but only by visiting the Brazilian side, you will fully appreciate the immensity of Iguazú Falls. Take your time to enjoy it and feel it, to stroll the different walkways and feel the spray of water on your face. Take the boardwalk over the Salto Santa María, it feels like walking on the water. Get closer to the “Devil’s Throat” and feel the power of water! We are sure this is a day you will never forget. At the end of the day, a driver will take you back to your hotel.

This is a dinner experience where you will learn all about traditional Argentine dishes in a cozy (and hidden!) restaurant in downtown Puerto Iguazú. Make your way to the closed-door restaurant where our bilingual guide will be waiting to greet you.  First, you will pass through a hidden winery, and then approach a large table where your materials will be waiting for you to start your cooking class and dinner. Get all dressed up in your professional chef outfit and start preparing your first Argentine cocktail with delicious Malbec wine (and its non-alcoholic version); some serious shaking is involved here. After the competition with your finished beverages, it’s time to taste some appetizers and get ready for the empanada contest. Learn how to properly fill the empanada and practice your skills with the “repulgue” (a special way to close and seal the empanada). Then, it will be time to order your steak! Learn how to ask for your desired cooking point in Spanish. Led by passionate hosts, learn about the classic social customs used by Argentines to enjoy plenty of funny moments at the dinner table. Finish the evening sipping on maté and making ‘alfajores de maicena’ (sandwich cookies overflowing with dulce de leche).  Finally, make your way back to your hotel with a full belly and fabulous memories.
