Small Groups

Our tours are 15 people or fewer so we can go where big groups can't. Forget about big tours, we like to travel as the locals do.

We use carefully chosen accommodations with character and high quality transportation to ensure a comfortable trip.

Local Experts

Our travel partners are local, licensed expert guides who are knowledgeable about the areas we visit to give you the best possible experience.

Trash is recycled whenever possible and we avoid mass tourism activities that cause harm to the environment and/or do not benefit local communities.

Itineraries packed with genuine and immersive experiences that are educational and fascinating every step of the way.

Like-Minded Travelers

Our small group tours cater to different types of travelers so you can meet other people who like to explore that same way you do.

What Others Think About Us

Check with the local embassy for the country you are visiting COVID testing be required as a condition of entry or exit, you are responsible for obtaining these tests at the required time before boarding your flight.

What is the age range of people on your trips?

Travelers between their late 20’s and 60’s are the majority, but our trips see people from age 22 to 75. As we’ve found age is only a number, the variety of ages has never been a factor to the group dynamics.

What is the average group size for your trips?

Our groups range in size depending on the destination and the activities, but generally range in size from 6 to 16 people.

What do the Physical Ratings on the itinerary mean?

While some of our tours are more challenging than others, most are designed to accommodate participants of all ability levels. However, you’ll get the most enjoyment from your trip if you are reasonably fit. Some trips may include high altitude treks, scuba diving, rock climbing, or other skilled activities and the difficulty level will be listed in the itinerary. To see what each rating means, please visit

What if I am traveling solo?

Not a problem! We put extra emphasis on serving the needs of the growing solo traveler market. Out tours are comprised of 70% solo travelers and you’ll never be required to pay a single supplement unless you want your own room. We will always offer roommate matching to pair you with a same-sex roommate.

I found an adventure that I’m interested in, when should I book?

The earlier you book, the better. Sometimes we reach capacity months prior to departure. Booking your flights early will also save you money. You can always change your mind and you won’t be charged to transfer to a different trip before your final payment is due.

Tell me about your guides.

We only work with licensed local guides who are experts in the destination and/or activity they are leading. In addition, you will be traveling with a trip leader who will be with you throughout the tour to ensure the smooth operation of the trip, handling all of the local logistics, and dealing with any unforeseen situations that may arise. Our trip leaders are always on hand, every day of the trip, to provide additionanal information, create spontaneous activities, join the group for non-included activities and meals, and ensure that the trip is as memorable, fun, and informative as possible.

Will I have any free time to myself?

Yes. There is usually designated “free time” built into the itinerary so you can explore on your own. Our guides and your trip leader will be on hand to give you suggestions, help you decide what to do, and be around to assist with any transportation or other needs. We want you to explore and break out of your comfort zone!

How many spots can I purchase on a tour?

Reservations on the tour are limited to a maximum of two per person to ensure that everyone who wants to go has the opportunity to do so.

What kind of accommodations do you use?

We mostly use 3-4* star hotels for our trips in combination with cultural experiences such as eco-lodges, desert and jungle camps, sailing yachts, sleeper trains, and other multi-share sleeping quarters. Please check the individual itinerary for information.

Will I need travel insurance?

Yes, all participants are required to have travel insurance for the duration of the trip. You will be asked to submit this prior to departure and if you don’t have it, you won’t be able to continue on the tour.
