Our business model can be described as community tourism. We’re not just a tour company, we’re a community of like-minded travelers. We build our programs based on your input and we take pride in giving everyone a chance to experience the real flavor of a destination. It’s not just about having great tours, but also creating local benefits for local people.
Our accommodations are locally operated and owned and include bed and breakfasts, farms, monasteries, and anything that would capture the flavor of the area. Travel between destinations might include buses, trains, canoes, rickshaws, and anything that offers variety, excitement, and captures the real local color.
Touring with like-minded people and with a trip leader provides the freedom of independent travel with the security of a group. We are all born with a natural curiosity to be explorers or travelers, but society pressures us to be tourists. Adventure People are travelers, not tourists.
Depending on the location, our groups may stay with a local family and take language lessons for a few days to learn a bit of the local language to enhance their experience for the rest of the trip.
We’ve confirmed that travel is a big priority in the lives of our travelers and seeing other cultures and meeting other people is an important pillar of their journeys. We promote an environment that fosters friendships and encourages participation from everyone involved. From local weekends to world journeys… together, we’ll discover amazing destinations and incredible adventures!
